Where to Eat
Melissa's Guide to Colorado's Best Tables
After 11 years of outfitting Colorado's finest kitchens, I've had a front row seat to this state's culinary rise. These are the restaurants I trust, admire and send my friends to. Some wear my aprons. All of them are worth your time.
Where It All Started
These are the restaurants of Chef Jennifer Jasinski — the woman who started it all with a
glass of wine and a list of do's and don'ts back in 2015. Union Stitch wouldn't exist without
her.
• Rioja — Denver | Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in the heart of Larimer Square. Where
the first Union Stitch apron was born.
• Ultreia — Denver | Spanish-inspired pintxos and wine in a stunning Union Station
setting.
• Bistro Vendôme — Denver | A little piece of Paris in Park Hill. French classics
done beautifully.
Colorado's Michelin Starred Kitchens
These restaurants have earned Colorado's highest culinary honor — and a place on this list.
• ★★ The Wolf's Tailor — Denver | Colorado's only two-star Michelin restaurant. Chef
Taylor Stark's tasting menu is unlike anything else in the state.
• ★ Beckon — Denver | An intimate 18-seat experience in RiNo. Every detail considered.
• ★ Bosq — Aspen | Seasonally driven, foraged, and fermented. Chef Barclay Dodge at
his best.
• ★ Brutø — Denver | Wood-fired elevated Mexican in LoDo. Also holds a Michelin Green
Star.
• ★ Frasca Food and Wine — Boulder | The definitive Northern Italian dining experience
in Colorado.
• ★ Alma Fonda Fina — Denver | Chef Johnny Curiel's love letter to Guadalajara.
• ★ Kizaki — Denver | Omakase from a true Denver sushi pioneer.
• ★ Margot — Denver | Chef Justin Fulton's refined and deeply personal take on contemporary American cuisine. One of Denver's most exciting additions to the Michelin map.
• ★ Mezcaleria Alma — Denver | The spirited sister to Alma Fonda Fina.
• ★ Osaki — Vail | Omakase and sake in the mountains. Worth the drive.
Michelin Bib Gourmand — Outstanding Value
Exceptional food without the fine dining price tag.
• Basta — Boulder
• Ash'Kara — Denver
• Cozobi Fonda Fina — Boulder
• The Ginger Pig — Denver
• Glo Noodle House — Denver
• Hop Alley — Denver
• La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal — Denver
• MAKfam — Denver
• Mister Oso — Denver
• Tavernetta — Denver
Local Favorites
The Gastamo Group has built some of Denver's most beloved neighborhood restaurants and they've been in Union Stitch aprons from the beginning.
• Park Burger — Multiple Denver locations | Denver's go-to for gourmet burgers done
right.
• Homegrown Tap & Dough — Multiple locations | Hand-tossed pizza and Colorado
hospitality.
• Park & Co. — Denver | A neighborhood gathering spot with great food and even better
vibes.
• Perdida — Denver | Coastal Mexican kitchen with soulful flavors.
• Lady Nomada — Multiple locations | Baja-inspired tacos, margaritas, and good energy.
This list will grow as Colorado's food scene does. Check back often.
